MagicMex Barcelona, the chosen brand name, reflects the essence of our project. We offer a unique experience through different manifestations of Mexican art in which, with special talent, a degree of modernity is achieved in the works that allows them to be inserted in any 21st century decoration space. Magicmex selects those works that, although they are made with the most traditional work techniques, project originality and inimitable style.

All our works are made by Mexican hands, over days, weeks or months, handling natural and sustainable materials such as clay, wood or recycled glass. It is the ability and mastery of the technique of the person who works on them that gives them the rank of a work of art. All of them are creations that have nothing to do with serial and stereotyped decorative elements. On the contrary, at Magicmex we offer an alternative to domesticated tastes for those who really want to turn their home into a very special and unique place.

From its most ancient origins to the present, Mexican art is characterized by being based on fantasy and imagination that take on a multitude of extraordinary and original forms and colors. Magicmex works of art show an unexpected avant-garde and a singularity in each of them that makes them exclusive.

Although the base is the naturalistic reproduction, for example, of an animal, there will be a flight towards the territory of fantasy, magic and mysticism. This is the case of Huichol art, when the colors take over each figure until it rises above reality, or in the case of black clay, when the figure modeled by the craftsman is pierced with drawings and grooves.

Works in tempered glass applied to decoration and furniture making deserve a separate chapter. The brilliant manipulation of tempered glass in conjunction with colorful resins applied in a one hundred percent manual process gives rise to unique and unrepeatable pieces.

MagicMex is nourished by the specialized work of artists and artisans based in different areas of Mexico (Oaxaca, Nayarit, Chiapas, Jalisco, etc.).
